Ombre Brows.

  • Ombre brows, also known as microshading, is a semi permanent tattoo. Ombre. brows typically last 2-3 years before needing a touch up.

  • Ombre Brows and Microshading involve the same application method. They both are tattoo pen to produce pixulated dots to fill in sparse brows. Ombre brows focuses on a soft gradient-like appearance.

    In contrast, microblading uses a bladed tool to produce hair like strokes. This method is more invasive which can lead to scarring and possible keloids to women of color.

  • If you are cleared from this list, you may proceed to booking. If any of these apply to you, you are disqualified as a client.

    Anyone:

    • under the age of 18

    • allergic to lidocaine

    • a severe diabetic

    • pregnant or breastfeeding

    • suffer from tumors, growths or cysts

    • viral infections or diseases

    • has had Botox within 1 month

    • serious heart or skin conditions

    • allergic to pigmentation or makeup

    • has had a chemical peel within 3 weeks

    • has used Accutane or Retin-A within 1 year

    • has had an allergic reaction to topical anesthetics

    • transmittable blood diseases, ex: HIV

    • skin irritations near the treated area such as acne, rashes, sunburn

    Those with a medical case must bring in a Doctor’s clearance.

  • DO NOT consume alcohol or caffeine 48 hours prior to your appointment. This will prevent excess bleeding, oozing and swelling during the procedure.

    DO NOT take any blood thinners such as Aspirin or Ibuprofen 72 hours prior to your procedure. Tylenol is fine.

    No brow waxing, tinting, or threading one week prior (the more natural hair growth you have, the better!

    Avoid Chemical Peels, Microdermabrasion or facials for 4-weeks prior procedure.

    Avoid sun and tanning one week prior to the procedure.

  • After the initial appointment you will notice that the color intensity will be considerably darker and sharper than you may expect. Your brows will soften in appearance by 30-50%.

    Minimal Swelling

    Tenderness

    Flaking

    Dryness and Itching
